The present certificate issued to Salpax, S.A. by the Aitex Technological Institute, which since more than 15 years has represented a worldwide reference point for researcher and testing in the field of ecology, affirms that during the use of Ecosalpa products do not release toxic or harmful substances in quantities higher than the limits established by the Oeke-Tex Leader Standard, comply with REACH regulation on the registration and restriction of chemicals, as it also comply with the American requirements regarding to the total lead content in items for children.
The GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.
The GRS is intended to meet the needs of companies looking to verify the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate) and to verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised.
SALPAX is developing the project "Substitute materials for forming, based on circular economy". This project aims to research and develop new substitute materials for natural leather that allow its use in applications that require a three-dimensional shaping of the material for the manufacture of the product.
The NEW_SHAPE project started in March 2021, in Cañada (Alicante), and will end in February 2023, with a budget of 555,246€ co-financed by CDTI and FEDER (European Regional Development Fund).
SALPAX, S.L. has received a grant co-financed by Ivace and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the programme PROYECTOS DE DIGITALIZACIÓN DE PYME (DIGITALIZA-CV), file IMDIGA/2022/112 within the Operational Programme of the Valencian Community 2021-2027:

* The implementation of the necessary technology for SALPAX to be able to carry out the control of the transfer line that allows the automation and communication of data for the monitoring of production parameters.
Results:
* Once the project has been executed, Salpax will have control of its transfer line with automation and data communication.
